SENIOR INTERFACE ONCOPLASTIC BREAST FELLOW
We are delighted to be able to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious individual to join our well integrated team based at the Royal Victoria Infirmary. This is an innovative post providing maximum exposure to all aspects of plastic and oncological surgery of the breast. The post is fixed-term for a period of 6 months.
You will work with the existing oncoplastic breast surgery team in the provision of oncoplastic breast surgery, including microsurgery to inpatient, day-case and outpatient breast cancer and reconstruction patients. It is essential that you are able to work as a flexible member of a team with the present consultants and supporting staff members, such as the Macmillan nurses and breast reconstruction nurses. This post has educational approval for candidates who are pre-CCT.
You will be post FRCS(Plast) with a minimum of ST7, with a recent ARCP outcome 1 (RITA C equivalent). This post is also open to recent CCT holders. You will have a special interest in oncoplastic breast surgery and microsurgical breast reconstruction as your career choice.
